Nas clinic believes that “Every patient is different. No treatment, programme or service can guarantee a particular medical, cosmetic, nutritional or psychological outcome.” By using our services, website, and mobile application, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.
The exact services available at any particular time may depend upon the qualifications of the professional, clinical assessment, facilities available and applicable law. Patients must follow pre-treatment and post-treatment instructions. The Clinic does not guarantee a particular cosmetic result because treatment response varies between individuals. Services are provided to patients/clients who are considered appropriate for the particular service after the relevant assessment.
The Clinic may decline, postpone or modify a service where the service is medically or psychologically inappropriate, the patient’s condition requires a different level of care, adequate facilities are unavailable, the practitioner considers the treatment unsafe, the patient requires emergency or specialist treatment, required consent has not been obtained, or continuing the service would not be in the patient’s best interests.
Patients are required to register themselves to avail treatment and services of the clinic. Patients are expected to provide truthful, accurate and complete information. Failure to disclose relevant medical information may affect the safety or suitability of treatment. After initial consultation and assessment, patients may be referred for further investigation wherever is needed.
A treatment plan may be changed after further assessment or in response to the patient’s progress. Before an applicable procedure or treatment, the patient will be appropriately informed. Patients are expected to follow the treatment plans and advice provided by their healthcare providers to achieve the best outcomes.
Written consent may be required for procedures such as aesthetic or invasive treatments. A patient has the right to ask questions before consenting. Consent may be withdrawn before a procedure, subject to applicable law and the circumstances of treatment. The exact nature of the service will be explained to the patient/client at the beginning of the engagement.
Appointments can be made in person, online, e-mail, telephone or WhatsApp communications. Accurate personal information must be provided. Patients are requested to arrive on time for appointments. Late arrivals may result in facing additional waiting time or in rescheduling or cancellation of appointments depending upon the circumstances. Emergency or clinically urgent matters may be prioritised over routine appointments.
Cancellation Policy: No refund of fees or advance will be made against cancellation of appointments. However, the appointments can be rescheduled subjected to the availability and convenience of the Clinic.
In hair and Scalp services, the patient may be advised to obtain laboratory investigations or specialist assessment where ever is necessary. Hair growth cannot be guaranteed, and the expected response varies according to the underlying cause and individual factors.
In Nutrition and Weight Management treatments, weight loss or weight gain varies between individuals. The Clinic does not guarantee a specific number of kilograms of weight loss or gain within a specified period. Patients should not undertake extreme dieting, fasting or exercise programmes contrary to professional advice.
Patients who are referred or desire to seek a second opinion, the relevant records may be provided to the patient or transferred with appropriate authorization whenever is necessary.
Medicines shall be prescribed only by professionals legally authorised to prescribe them and within their professional scope. Patients shall not alter, discontinue or share prescribed medication without appropriate medical advice.
Information disclosed during counselling or psychological services shall ordinarily be treated as confidential. However, confidentiality may have legal or safety-related limitations, including circumstances involving serious and immediate risk of harm, suspected abuse or safeguarding concerns, a legal requirement to disclose information, Court/Competent-authority orders or other circumstances recognised by applicable law.
In couples or family counselling, information disclosed by one participant may have implications for the therapeutic relationship involving other participants. The Clinic does not act as a legal mediator or provide legal advice unless separately authorised to do so.
For children, consent shall ordinarily be obtained from the parent or legally authorised guardian as applicable. The Clinic shall endeavour to respect the child’s privacy and dignity while also complying with legal obligations. Where safeguarding concerns arise, the Clinic may take steps required by law to protect the child.
The clinic is primarily an outpatient health and wellness facility and should not be treated as a substitute for an emergency hospital. If a patient develops an emergency or presents with an emergency condition, appropriate immediate assistance will be provided within the Clinic’s available competence and facilities, followed by referral or transfer where necessary.
For mental-health emergencies involving immediate risk of self-harm, suicide, violence or serious deterioration, emergency medical/psychiatric services may be required. Patients and families should use emergency medical services or attend the nearest appropriate hospital when immediate emergency care is required.
Applicable fees shall be communicated to the patient before or at the time of booking/service, wherever practicable. Patients shall be provided with appropriate receipts/bills. Additional services not included in a package may attract additional charges. Fees paid for services already provided are ordinarily non-refundable except where a refund is required under the applicable terms or law.
Patients are advised not to bring valuables unnecessarily and to keep their items in their safe custody. The Clinic shall not be responsible for loss of personal belongings.
