What should I do if my teen is resistant to counselling?+

It is common for teens to be nervous. Suggest an initial “meet and greet” to see if they feel comfortable with the therapist. Remind them that therapy is a confidential space where they are the expert on their own life.

How is teen therapy different from adult therapy?+

Teen therapy is more interactive and present-focused. We use more creative tools (like art or mindfulness) and often incorporate the family system to ensure long-term stability.

How many sessions will my teen need?+

This depends on the individual concern. While some issues resolve in 8-12 sessions, deeper trauma or self-harm recovery may require long-term maintenance to ensure brain development isn’t stunted.

Do you offer online counselling for students?+

Yes. Secure online sessions are available for students, providing a convenient and private option for busy academic schedules.
